         The best tourist information centre in the Czech Republic established by a municipality 
       (1st place in a competition of the C.O.T. media publishing house “Our Region 2006“)
         2nd place in the category for the Best Foreign Language promotion material in the competition “Our Region 2006“ 

• The tourist information centre of the town of Tábor was established in 1994
• it answers to the Department of Culture and Tourism of the town of Tábor
• it is included in the network of Official Tourist Information Centres in the Czech Republic  (registered by the state allowance organisation CzechTourism)
• it is a member of the Association of Tourist Information Centres of the Czech Republic
• Certificate B was granted to the information centre according to the classification of the A.T.I.C.
• it is a member of the South-Bohemian Tourism Association as a member of the Association of Towns and Villages of the Tábor Region (SMOOT)
• the tourist information centre is also a South-Bohemian fairy-tale office
• the tourist information centre runs the Tábor Treasure exhibition
• the tourist information centre runs a branch in the Railway centre at the train station in Tábor
