City of tábor - department of education, youth and sports cooperates with sports associations, clubs and organizes different sports events on different levels and co-organizes for example these sports events:
Evening run through Tábor
co-organized with the School Sports Clubs Associations, Southbohemian University and the Children and Youth House
- run for children from the Tábor schools and for public. For all categories.
Mayor of the Town Cup
- ice-hockey contest. HC Soudek Tábor - team of the semi-amateur league. Traditional start of the season tournament.
Run through the Old Town
co - organized with the Athletic Club Tábor as a part of the Tábor Meetings Festival. This event is for the general public of all age groups.
Tábor Tower
- chess tournament, co-organized with AŠSK, Sokol Tábor and Southbohemian university
- traditional torunament takes place regularly during Christmas break. With international partipation.
Anlen Cup
- mountain bike contest, co-organized with Cyklosport Koláø. Contestant who represent the Czech Republic take part in this event and increase its attractivity.
Tábor Ramble
contest for children, co-organized with the Czech Tourist Club
Streetball cup
co-organized with the Tábor Basketball Club, with participation of clubs from surrounding regions.
Terry Fox Run
charity event, also for handicapped people. You can take part on foot, on your bike, with a pram etc. Proceeds from voluntary starting fee are used to support cancer research. The event is co-organised with the group Do fantazie 4.
The Town Cup
- co-organized with the Jordans Bulls. Youth and children basketball contest.
Run through Pintovka Park
we co-organize this event Athletic Club Tábor. It takes place in the natural environment of the Pintovka Park. Popular contest among children, youth and adults. This is a closing event of the athletic season.
Christmas Pair Tournament
co-organized by OVV ÈSTV, very popular pair tournament:
- men + boys to 15 years
- women (all age groups)
- mixed pairs
Disciplines: basketball, volleyball, swimming and ninepins.
